Eduke polymer-screenshots differs from gameplay  "Eduke32 polymer appearence"

#1

Hi Guys,

any ideas why the look of Eduke Polymer screenshots differs from gameplay ? I installed all correctly but i didn't get any reflections on the wall. The shadows are flickering or doesn't appear. The lights are almost the same like in the orginal duke 3D. Game is set to 32 bits and highres textures are on.

Is the problem my 64 bit version of Win7. That would be my only guess.

greets

Olli

Please read this before posting bugs (AKA logfile as attachment please)
Also a screenshot of you playing in game wouldn't go a miss either.

I don't have to look at the log to know what's going on. The pictures you're talking about are a bunch of hardcoded test shots specifically designed to show off new features of the renderer. The actual game doesn't have reflections transparent water or wall reflections (unless they're the actual game mirrors), at least not yet.

The latest polymer light pack will always be available from NightFright's signature under one of his posts which can he found in the HRP sticky thread at the top of this forum.
