I don't think we'll get a guy closer to Duke than that. They either go with him or they make it CGI.

Gearbox/2K already hired him to help promote DNF, so yeah, hopefully they will.

I've seen other pictures of this guy on his Facebook page. At some angles/lighting, he looks 100% like Duke! They can make him look even more like Duke in the movie. As long as he can pull through on the acting, we have a real-life Duke!

The movie would be a complete failure anyway (even if one did come out) because they will get some nobody like the above guy with no acting experience at all.

You dont need a person to look anything like Duke to have a Duke Nukem movie, even someone like Liam Neeson could pull this off.

Only way to go, IMHO: CGI with Jon as voice of Duke. Everything else is "some random blonde dude with muscles".

According to 3D Realms themselves, Howie Long was scheduled to play Duke Nukem in the live action film. I still think he'd be the best..if not perfect actor if the film ever gets made...atleast while he's still somewhat young and in shape.

I ideal actor would be a guy on his mid-late 30's. Or even early 40's, portrayed younger.

I see Duke on Duke3D as a 36 year old guy. On forever he looks like he's 29.
