Why can't we have a discussion about the extremely relevant issue of DNF at Gearbox? I don't know why my post was deleted, it was merely a statement that I was excited about possible upcoming DNF news. Also, I don't think that arbitrarily banning people is acceptable, and I never thought that would become part of the Duke4.net culture. So, I cannot take your threat to ban the "next person" who posts seriously, and I'm extremely disappointed to see such a threat made on this website. After being here for almost 5 years, I think that it would be absurd for me to be banned just because I want to discuss the DNF-Gearbox story.

There is 2215 posts in the DNF @ PAX thread on the 3D Realms forums, no one in their right mind would let the thread go on that long unless something was going to happen.

It's been known JSJ is speaking on an opening day panel for ages and it's fairly reasonable to expect his place on the panel has more to do with his work on Dudebro or Valve's DotA game in the first place.
