I can compile the latest release of EDuke32 on OSX and when I run it, my keyboard strokes do nothing. I thought it might be a problem with building it on my imac specifically. Then I tried building it on my cousin's macbook and the same problem occurs. I think something's wrong with how it detects keystrokes in mac architecture. I'm scared to try and mess around with the source code (I am a programmer, but not a build engine afficianado).
Can someone tell me what I should try doing before/after I type 'make' in the release folder? I'm willing to be a guinea pig to test it if someone will try and make an update somewhere to address whatever's gone wrong.

Are you running by double-clicking the .app bundle, or from the terminal by
open ./EDuke32.app?

I tried both. err, actually neither; the .app bundle thingy is broken, so i have to either double click the executable directly, and i've run ./eduke32. I had no clue about a 'open' command you could prepend to it
