Well, I didn't expect much of it to begin with, but since Ion Fury at least drew quite some media attention, I thought its successor/spinoff/sequel wouldn't fly THAT much under the radar. The fact that it does is quite revealing.

It's not 2019 anymore and there's plenty competition in the boomer shooter space. Maybe they should let Shelly have a heated gamer moment to stir up some controversy with the game

I got this on an impulse buy on GOG today and I've already requested a refund. It isn't "horrible" or anything, just... painfully average and generic. It's disappointing, but can't say I'm surprised, since I've seen a myriad of bad to mid titles coming from 3DR throughout the years.

To me it's still sort of a surprise. Trailer footage looked promising. But then again, they can compile some highlights and the rest is just shit.

It's a shame. Ion Fury demonstrates that the character has a lot of potential... Phantom Fury makes this now 2 out of 3 games she's been in subpar.

Considering it's the Slipgate Ironworks we know about, never really surprised.

I also heard TX said something in Discord about they just didn't cared about Ion Fury(not really sure if real or not) so yeah...if they think they "can" make better shit and just ignored anything that was succeeded, then just too bad.
