huge open maps with over 2000 bots  "how can i make the enemys play my side."

ok i've testing the limits of duke 3d. and well ive made maps so open that it takes over minute befor it hits it's target. and in these maps i've added over 2000 enemys without lag on my computer. but 1 vs 2000 is'nt what i call fair. its about time i get some back up.
ive seen it done befor. it was in a mod where you shot one of your guns and the enemy fights with you. so why not have it as a normal thing. like if i pic a type of spite, one of them is friendly.

can any halp me get this done for my mod??

Basically you'll need to code them to do this....or use bots made by other people (as suggested above)

When coding them you'll need to make them target enemy actors and you'll also need to make enemy actors target your friendly bots as well and obviouasly making them be able to seek each other down.

Which is a lot of work to code AI's per enemy and such...

Unless you're gonna have godlike friendly AI (or make the friendly AI almost invincible) I wouldn't do this, babysitting bots is not fun so people are just going to go "well fuck it, you just die" and leave the bots behind if it turns out they get shot too much and die too often. And when people don't care if they have allied bots or not... then the bots are pretty pointless I'd say.

He's talking about a gigantic map full of enemies and bots. You think the enemies should rush towards the player and ignore everything else that's going on? That sounds like a pretty epic battle /sarcasm

Well ok maybe not in that context, but like I said =>

Would be a better option.

Or have a friendly bot spawnpoint that spawns a new bot when a previously spawned one dies (like how it works in CoD)
