Complaining about censorship on duke4.net is so two thousand and twenty. Their rants weren't even interesting. Nothing of value was lost.

I'm glad that thread disappeared. I don't think politics and other things that only divide people and can lead to unnecessary verbal abuse should be brought up on forums.duke4. I'm a bit sorry that because of my single post in the MTK thread I was quite unfairly listed as the author of that moved discussion (although even after it was moved I was one of those who contributed a few new posts to it) so I hope I bear no responsibility for Khan's decision to ask for his own account to be deleted, or his two-month suspension.

Why would you be sorry when he`s the one that went on a racist/facist tirade idolizing putin, literally claiming he was gods gift to man and then threatening rape/violence/religious persecution like a maniac to anyone with an opposing view? Assuming he`s actually suspended and will actually quit the boards which I doubt will happen, the lunatic can only blame himself.
The thread should have been locked if anything and left as an example. Instead it`s swept under the rug as if it it didn`t happen and we`re provided with a dubious story. Sounds a lot like what the democrats do.

Don't worry, there will be another thread just like it soon enough, have you not seen the constant pattern of the Duke4 5 step program for new posts?:
1. A post is made about a new map, mod, or perhaps a question of which ball sags lower than the other on Duke's nutsack.
2. Someone decides to derail it with something that's usually entirely unrelated to OP.
3. This new discussion suddenly absorbs the original intent of the OP, to the point that anyone jumping in isn't even paying attention to OP and is just arguing about whatever derailed the post to begin with.
4. The derailed discussion is split into a new post.
5. Everyone shits their online persona pants in this moment, in their own unique way, which eventually leads to the thread falling into obscurity, getting locked, or being sent to the void zone.
I've been on this forum for over a decade now, and this has been the case since as far as I can remember. So don't worry, you'll get another chance to argue on this forum.

I don't know. I just don't wish him to stop working here. He had some opinions that I disagreed with (that more of us disagreed with) but let's not forget that he was a modder too, he's done some work, so I certainly wouldn't look down on him. (After all, why would I do that? I haven't created a single piece of content worth anything in this game yet, unlike Ginghis who already had experience):

One's works should separately from one's personality/politics/crimes/whatever else, no matter if you agreed or not.
But in fact, it actually too HARD to do so(pretty sure there were a lot of examples on this forum), don't feel bad about that.

Your story (at least at the time) did not correlate with reality. When that occurs it's only natural that someone question what's happening. I guess that's now the case though since my inbox hasn't been filled with dingus' gibberish for the last few days. Regardless my point still stands that censorship is for pussies. I will give credit where it's due though because you made it right. No paranoia here.

My "story" was 100% truthful and correlated perfectly with reality. You just don't understand the timeline. His account wasn't suspended at the time the thread was unapproved, it was suspended *later* when I learned he had continued activities here after telling me in a PM that he was leaving.
This forum is very supportive of free speech (most people would say we are far too tolerant of obnoxious people like gingus and yourself) and I am probably the most extreme advocate of free speech in the moderator group. I come here to share my modding, support the modding of others, and sometimes try to have intelligent conversations. I don't appreciate being falsely accused of censorship or told that my truthful words don't "correlate with reality". You are on notice. I don't like you, and even my patience has limits.
