I know 2 bugs that can be fixed:
Wind.voc in the last 2 maps is screwed, plays the ending music instead.
Assault Captains in Market Melee and Alien Remains don't come back after cloaked.
Just more questions:
Is there any chances to see Enforcers instead of "dragons" in places where "dragons" don't fit to the theme (I'm thinking of AR again, and Wavemistress). Also, the level AR had been discussed in the Repository board recently, and I remade a couple of minor things to make it "normal" Duke compatible... it's not relevant to this topic, but that one (also the basements of Wavemistress) really looks better that way. How can you seriously fight against sentry drones with water pistol, or seeing beach babes walking through lava pits?
As for the pistol, shotgun and chaingun, is there any chances to get more "weapony" look and sound to them? Pigcops have normal shotguns, but you fire water at them.
Is there any information about the lost enemy, Iguana Captain? There are some screenshots about him, and obvious references in the game. It would be a better fit than the "dragon" in many places.

The Inflatable Dragons are pretty goofy. I don't think that there are too many technical problems with adding Enforcers, but it would be nice if they had some Caribbean attire. I always thought it was weird that the CE had vacation decor, but the Battlelords didn't.
Should I make it so that beach babes take damage on lava?
Do you mean that I should have the Pig Cops shoot Super Soak 'ems? Or do you mean that Duke's weapons should gain some power? I agree, but I don't want to remove any of them.
I have never heard of Iguana Captains. Were they supposed to be replacements for Enforcers? Please, please send me screenshots and the references to him.
If I get lucky, I might be able to get in contact with Anthony Campiti, \see if anyone still has the source materials, and if it can be released as freeware.

You can find a link in my opening post, and see some pictures. Telee also posted some pics, but they don't appear unfortunately.
As for the wind.voc, the only thing that can solve the issue is to change the M sprite in those maps to a different sound, which is apparently the original wind.voc. I don't think it worth to screw the cutscene hardcodes.
I think the players' weapons should be stronger, not the piggies' weaker. It's just simply not alright to shoot water at enemy.
The Battlelords indeed need some caribbean look, altough they only appear in hi-tech parts, like sentry drones. In those non-caribbean areas (especially in the last 3 levels) it would be great to see the original weapons/items/monsters.
And as for the lava thing, a couple of days ago Wieder admitted, that the last level was made for original Duke, but later "kludged" into the Caribbean theme. I guess he redesigned the last area, which was IMHO originally a green Battlelord place with abyss sound.

Hendricks, if you do speak to Campiti, would you please bug him to release ANYTHING they have that was never put into a product for a build game. I'd love to have these lizard dudes and the original trooper.

My advice to you is to keep developing your skills. The path you are headed in your art is not the best one. Try to make your models more realistic, more detailed, and try to actually do things correctly. The models that are currently in my HRPs (mostly by chicken) are the quality of excellence for which you should be striving. Don't be disheartened.

Highlights:
numerous CON and 8-bit art fixes
Roland Sound Canvas SC-55 music
Polymer texture support (no new map lights at present)
map patching, fixing numerous bugs and errors
Polymer compatibility issues fixed with non-flashing weapons and projectiles
Note: Currently, the new Polymer render does not support disabling models on a per-sprite basis (notmd in maphacks). This may cause certain visual errors while playing. This bug resides in EDuke32, not the pack.
The next major version may very well have optional DukePlus compatibility. Recent discussion on the forums has revealed to me that it could be quite possible to make mutators in the CONs so that Vaca+ will not have to be updated for every revision of DukePlus. Unfortunately, this will take much effort due to the screwy things done with the Beach Babe, Beach Walker, Seagull, Inflatable Dragon, and Beach Ball tiles that will take extensive map patching (with the help of Mapster32-script), as well as the generally difficult nature of the work.

Edit: A little update: Curiously the DC and Nuclear Winter installers work perfectly, so I really don't have any idea why Vacation doesn't work.

I fixed this problem in my batch files (I encountered it too) but my distribution batch file overwrote the copies used to package it all up.
Here are the fixed batch files. A complete new upload will be available shortly..
Caribbean.bat
NWinter.bat
Delete VACADM*.map from your directory.

Sadly it still does the same thing, the batch file just stays open and does nothing. I also made a separate eduke folder so that there won't be any leftover files which could interfere, but same thing happens.

Try once more with this new set. (Same links BTW.)
Caribbean.bat
NWinter.bat
Again, delete VACA*.map as well as vacaflag20.h266 from your directory.

I've downloaded last week the news HRP edition of Vacation, and the console display some errors during the loading. See the attached TXT.
Can I report things that could be changed in maphacks? Few textures or models are well set :/
I'll also make a report for NW, it doesn't start since I've updated it ot the latest HRP...
Ah also, I promised to upload Sand Textures, do you already need them?
Thanks for reading, Mateos.

All those files are in the HRP SVN.
Please report anything that needs fixing. However, check them in both Polymost and Polymer because Polymer does not have the maphack functions implemented yet.
I would like to see your report for NW.
Please upload your Sand textures.

Something is wrong with NW on your end. Make sure you have no loose NW CON files. In the future, please post NW+ bug reports in the NW+ thread.

The only extracted COn related to NW is NWINTER.CON, 151 Ko; There's 7 CONs in GRP file. I notice it worked before the update to the last version, so it has something to do with extracted files from your package, am I wrong?

There's your problem. Delete NWINTER.CON. Every release comes with improved CON files in the zip.
