For some reason the music doesn't play, restarting the game doesn't fix it. I'm using the latest release, r9507. No mods.
Only way i found of fixing it is saving, use "map e1l2" on the console, noclipping inside the strip club (the music plays now) and then load the save. Just loading the map doesn't fix it, i guess you have to enter the sector playing the music. Even then the problem returns if i close the game.

Also when loading that save i get a "(please leave blank)" message, idk what that's about.

UPDATE:
it's probably related, in e1l3 after i fell down the rotating gears and loaded they stopped making noise. Again restarting the game doesn't fix them and the method above does.

The conveyor belt in e1l4 and water current in e1l5 have a similar problem. if i save, quit the game and load they stop making noises. Seems like an issue with looping sounds and saves.

Will be fixed in upcoming revisions.

Edit: The fact that loading the save displays a "please leave blank" quote is weird, those are normally only for the reserved quotes that are used by multiplayer and the CGS cheat.

Edit 2: Nevermind, what I wrote on the wiki a while ago is wrong. What's happening with the "please leave blank" quote is that the "Game Saved" message is defined as that string when the game is launched, and is overwritten when you save a game.

Loading a game after restarting the program then will cause the placeholder to be displayed.
