I looked through this forum to see if anyone else had this problem but didn't find anything.
Anyways, I installed this earlier tonight and went to play a bit. Saving seemed normal until I tried to load. The preview picture is missing (while the name is intact) and when it gives me a Y/N prompt pressing Y does nothing. If I restart the game it acts as if the save never existed. Quicksaves don't work either. Any help would be appreciated.

open the files eduke32.cfg and duke3d.cfg with notepad
scroll down to [setup]
change ModDir = "whatever you have here"
to either
ModDir = ""
or
ModDir = "/"
I forgot which one is right. Try the first one first and see if it works.

Thank you sir. It was "/"

You're welcome, but IIRC it was DeeperThought that first found this solution awhile back so he deserves the credit.
