I used to run Doom3Center, which started getting 20,000 to 60,000 visitors a day when Doom 3 came out. I expect more from this website, as DNF has been the most anticipated game of all time for many people.

I didn't quit Doom3Center. The problem was that my Internet friend who hosted the website for me decided to close it down without giving me a chance to back up the website. It would have existed in some form today if I had any of the files.

This won't happen with Duke4.net because I control *everything* -- I have the rights to the domain and the mySQL database, plus there are staff members who'll ensure the site will not ever have to close down.

Oh, and I happen to have about ten back ups of this website at any given time, and more are taken often.
