Everybody seems to have troubles with my zip/rar/7z archives, and it's literally ruining my life at the moment.
I can zip and unzip my archives with no problems. However, when somebody else's trying to unzip my files they can't, the say it's corrupted!
However...for some reason 7zip can't do it, but Winrar's having no trouble with it...but I don't know for sure because I can't ask everybody what kind of program they'are using!
I used 7zip, rar and zip formats and get the same result every time - nobody can open it with 7zip!
It's not people's problem that they can't open my archived folder. It's my problem that I can't do anything with...

I have found a lot of people were using an older version of 7zip and their issue went away with an update. Including me.
Do you have a link handy to something I can DL and try to unzip with 7Z? Make it something that others are having a problem with.

I have no problem opening that with WinRAR or with ark on Debian.

Thank you for testing. Perhaps you're both using the updated versions of the programs like that Mark mentioned.
It doesn't solve my problem though. I don't know how to archive files so everybody can open it

Try zipping your files in an older version of 7zip if you can find it. IIRC I did the update early this year so it might not be quite as difficult to find it. Just don't use versions 4.50- 4.58. They are bugged according to the developer.
As you said before, it shouldn't be your responsibility to make sure everyone runs the proper software on their computers. Just mention to use the latest 7zip in your release text if this indeed was the issue.

How many other people are actually having problems?
If it's dozens of people, then yes, you are probably doing something wrong. If it's one or two, they're probably doing something wrong.
Your rar opened fine for me in 7zip 17.0 Beta, then I thought about it and I hadn't updated it in forever. So I updated to 7zip 20.02 Alpha and it still opened fine.

Try this
Tested fine with newest stable version of 7zip,
I think it's definitely something wrong on the user end as others have said.
Maybe their antivirus is also doing something finnicky,
I had that problem before with hexels beta files.
