consider that its statement is basically - the only people that don't judge you are your mom, and people that only keep you around because they can use you for something.

kinda sad if it really thinks that way, or that's been its life experience so far.

the only other option is that it's the one that keeps people around to use them because it's shallow & self-absorbed.

On a more serious note, memories of the old games will always be there, Duke, like an old favourite restaurant might have changed owners and turned to shit and tarnished it's reputation but people still remember it for what it was. I still believe that someday there will be ways to carry on the torch or at least give things a proper closure. Now is not the time it seems. These past good memories inspire me to seek what once was and what I got to experience. It's no secret that AHB's work was a huge influence on the mapping I did on Fury. There are always ways to keep the spirit alive one way or another...
