What you want is Guifanesin, Dextromethorphan, and Pseudoephedrine (or Phenylephrine if you can't get that due to meth heads.) I would also suggest Benadryl (or Zyrtec if you want to avoid drowsiness, but you're sick so fuck it, right?) for general anti-histamine effects. If you got fever or aches, switch between aspirin and ibuprofen (do not mix them) if you can take them. I wouldn't recommend anyone to use acetaminophen ever. Hell, if the aspirin works for you, stick with that. Ibuprofen isn't that great either but taken properly it's mostly safe and effective.

Most importantly, before during and after sickness you need to be properly loaded up on vitamins A, B, C, D & E, zinc... You know what, fuck it. ALL OF THE VITAMINS AND MINERALS. I was being heavily sardonic with Nyquil. The US uses something like 60% of all meds world wide. A drug for everything, even the Cold; and Paxlovid will be an easy sell.
Yet, there are currently other medications recognized for out-patience (properly tested), to the discretion of the physicians. While Pfizer will hit another jackpot, hopefully they will not be the only one.
