Well you'd better take a car if you want to throw trash away or buy gas. Yesterday I returned to the city dump only to be told that bicycles and pedestrians are not allowed any more, and that you must have a car to gain entry. The gas station then told me off for having a jerry can, which I had filled already, saying it was a fire hazard and to remove it. I explained that I had just filled it and asked how else I was meant to buy gas, but they repeated that I needed to remove the can, so I told them this was fine, I would leave immediately... without paying for it. Hey, I just did as they asked me to do and it saved me a few quid. Thanks, angry gas station employee.

the only thing they don't allow here is filling glass, ceramic, or other containers that may shatter, cause they don't want people dropping them and making a big spill next to the pumps.
(it also has to be on the ground when filled so it reduces the chances for static to spark fumes)

Last night I heard that caches of bricks, stones, and firebomb materials have been found scattered around near major protest areas. Good money and planning behind these "spontanious innocent protesters". It would be great if surveillance cameras recorded and identified who dumped them there. A pallet of bricks being delivered in an odd area should stand out.

I don't worry too much about the Coronavirus much anymore only worried that my 74 year old folks might get it, would still wear a mask on public transport (don't have to because I car everywhere) and still wash hands extra just in case. It funny thinking back as I was prepared enough and was mentally preparing my wife for the complete breakdown of most law and order. Still glad I took those precautions and have no regrets, learned loads of new skills like growing food and fishing that I had never really put time into before. I even feel a bit guilty saying that the lockdown was the least stressful months of my life for years, waking up at 5 am and heading down the road to the beach to watch the sun rise before going back to bed, longer walks and discovering new parts of the countryside/coast I moved to 3 years ago, baking, getting back in shape and stronger again, less work but just enough to keep the business alive, sneaking to visit my brothers and other family for some beer nights beyond the allowed limits, less people everywhere, reading a load of books, playing games till am hours with my lockdowned brother.

The lockdown shit needs to end now, the healthy and young can go about their business (with a bit of extra care) and let the vulnerable can take extra precautions needed.

If immunity is as fleeting as many are saying, then it would seem current efforts at developing a vaccine are wasted. Likewise, people waiting around for a vaccine are wasting their lives. If that is true, then the more people who understand this, the better.
