LA Rumble glitch

Hi! Just found an interesting thing. If I load E3L4, and save it (no modifications are needed actually), the elevator shaft gets glitched immediately. This is possibly a bug related to sector over sector... similar bug occured in Tier Drops. The level became clearly broken. Possibly the bug appears with other levels with overlapping sectors, like Lunatic Fringe or Hotel Hell, but I haven't tested them yet.

We encountered this map corruption when it became an issue for the Duke64 mod. TerminX told us about Mapster32's "-nocheck" parameter to prevent it. As far as I know no such issue exists in Hotel Hell since the map was finished successfully, and I did Lunatic Fringe myself so I know it's not affected.

Thank you.... Did the same bug occur in Tier Drops? (Although that map is not part of DN64)

I'm not sure, your first post seemed to suggest that it does occur in Tier Drops.

Wait, are you saying that you need to use the -nocheck parameter to prevent mapster from fucking up the maps?

Purportedly to prevent mapster32 from "fixing" corrupted maps, yes. I haven't actually tested it myself yet.

Well, that sucks, because as we know, those "fixes" sometimes remove important sprites needed to make effects work. I had assumed that the feature had been removed completely, and didn't know I needed a special command to disable it. I hope I haven't messed up any maps without knowing it.
