Hi everyone,

As the DN3D 20th Anniversary World Tour has been released is there any way to play it in the High Res mode using eDuke32 and at best to make it use at least some content from the HRP pack?

Yes, it's possible.
Check [WIP] World Tour EDuke32 Compatibility Stopgap, I'd say it's on page #4.

Well atleast that's that latest build of Eduke32 that I've tried, and it was compatible with it.
Note: Some of the textures/models won't look as good, considering it wasn't meant for the new episode to be ran.

It's pretty much experimental for now.

Hope it helped!

In theory, the HRP could be updated for any new World Tour textures.

Considering latest HRP contribution activity (= zero), I am afraid it's rather unlikely to happen. Also, with EDuke32 only partially supporting WT, it wouldn't be the real deal. Anyway, nothing and nobody can prevent you from trying to run WT with the HRP - personally, I'd advise against it, though.

In theory someone could build a railroad track from the north pole to the south pole of the Earth, thus magnetizing it.
It could then be used to sling iron cannonballs at the moon.
In theory.

There are people making new resources for mods/projects out there. No one is obligated to expand the HRP, but someone could if they wanted. It isn't impossible or beyond reason. It just takes someone with both artistic talent and the desire to do so.

I agree.
Someone with the drive, desire, time, and resources, could indeed use the earth's magnetic poles to create a railgun with the purpose and capabilities of launching iron projectiles at the moon.

I got it working once but I'm not sure how, since I haven't been able to do it again. But it was full of bugs like the developer commentary icons all over the place.

That means you didn't get it working. Follow the stopgap's instructions.
