The skyboxes only work in polymost/polymer. 8bit classic still has 8bit classic sky's. And if you don't want to use the skyboxes in polymost just delete the skybox folder.

As for the crashes, I really do hope it gets fixed for those who cant play in 32bit.

Looks fantastic as usual but I can see something to nitpick about for once, the rocky walls in the back second shot, on the left side.. it seems they lack depth? I mean if you follow the lines it goes straight into the parallaxed sky, there is no wall on the side of them that would suggest they are big, massive things.

Sounds very vague, I can only hope you understand what I meant.

Wow, this is looking really good! I do have a question, if that white stuff on the ground is snow, wouldn't that melt near all that lava?

It's still based on the nature we know, not cardboard props. Not to take part in the discussion - I agree with Sang but the way it currently looks doesn't bother me.

I believe the player is in somewhere infested by hell's powers, so that would look clearly normal if you think it this way :blink:

We want this to be a standalone game, but we don't know how long it will be until we have a standalone version of it. Our current goal is to release the first episode of the TC some time in August. That first release may or may not require duke3d.grp to run. Everyone posting on this forum should already own Duke 3D, though, so it shouldn't be any cause for concern in this neck of the woods.

There's something about the environment that I just love... It just looks like it's somewhere I WANT to play around in. Rather than clash in a nasty way, I think the hellish sky blends really nicely with the lava flows and snow falling everywhere. :blink:
