Just played E5L6, died once (Darn you Battlelord), it's still a great remake. Just one thing however, some of the lights on the dance floor (In the same room with the Yellow Keycard) are supposed to be at pal 7, not pal 8 (There are some at pal 8, though). They both do look kinda the same when playing Total Meltdown but they do look slightly different. Aside from that It's a cool remake. Keep it up. :)

Also I noticed you included the unused teleporter. :P

Adding the map E5L4:
Plug And Pray.rar

Version .GRP:
PlugAndPray.grp
and the addons.grpinfo.txt:
addons.grpinfo.txt


I corrected some errors on the map E5L2 and fix some tiles on the map E5L6.

I added two missing tiles for the E5L4 map.

This is really great and I really appreciate the effort, but, aren't you guys doing the same thing twice ? I thought there was also an "official" total meltdown mod coming for EDuke32?

I also wait for the fox666 version but I do not know how long it will go out (if it goes out one day)

I'm waist-deep in RL stuff right now (about to move) but the remainder of stuff TM mod 1.0 needs is only a quick volley or two of intense focus.

This is for Addon Compilation. This is to be added in the "addons.grpinfo" file.

I think this re-creation is really well done and if it wasn't for the reverse-engineering efforts, it would be the closest thing we'd even have by this point.

Please re-upload this without the copyrighted data !

Also congrats for completing this, your previous work has been of high quality and I urge anyone interested to try this out.
The WIP builds that i saw were the best recreation by far.

Your map recreations are skillful but as a package I can call this Total Meltdown: Counterfeit Edition without reservation. If you can't even keep duke3d.grp out of your upload, I don't know what else there is to say.

Every time you see "Patch from Fox" we're getting closer to an EDuke32 fully equipped for the job.

Probably a dumb question, but how do I run it properly?

I've put the grp file in the "autoload" section and the I can see the new Total Meltdown screen and all, but the plug and pray episode however is not listed in the episode selection screen...

The best choice (for me) that I can offer you is to make "EDuke32 Addon Compilation"

How it works:
- Creates an additional folder in your Duke3D directory and name it "addons" which contains the groupfiles.
- Download this file: addons.grpinfo and paste it in this "addons" folder.
- Create a EDuke32 shortcut and right click --> property.
- In "Target" box, at the end of the line, you add a scpace and add -jaddons. Then you validate. (e.g.: E:\Duke3D\eduke32.exe -jaddons)
- When launching EDuke32, you will see the group in the launcher afterwards.


For musics:
- Download Musics PSX
- Unzip.
- Copy the highres file and the duke3d.def file and you paste it in Duke3D directory.
- Download this file: psx_agg.def and paste it in Duke3D directory.
