My condolences to his family (if he even had one). Very sad to hear about fellow Dukers' deaths (especially if they're of my nationality; this is the first time I've ever heard about a Russian mapper passing away... ...well, actually, the first time I've heard about a Duker's death whatsoever). Did you know him personally (or at least closely enough to know about his end)?
No. I first encountered him when he joined our russian community group (at the well-known social network
![;)](https://forums.duke4.net/public/style_emoticons/default/wink.gif)
) back in 2008. I never met him in real life, but we chat a lot while we worked on RCBP's. Somehow he don't visit our group very ofthen, and eventualy his profile was closed since 2012. I never cared about the guy, until replayed that map a week ago, and tried to connect him and his close friend had told me about his passing. I don't exactly find out what it was, but it seems like the heavy smoking was the reason.
