People are acting like they can't take his word for it. Tips are the things you give the unexperienced based on your experience. He's learned from his mistakes. I doubt he'd wait a decade to ship another game, Duke or no.
What's George Broussard doing these days?

Speaking of George, looks like he picked the wrong side to back in this Twitter thread with Notch.

I don't think Notch has a right to criticize someone due to how fucking uninspired and vanilla Virtua Autistic Legos is.
Also the guy is only a billionaire because of the tech bubble...if Minecraft came out five years earlier or later he'd still be upper class at best. Dude got fucking lucky.

usually just terrible questions or they want to focus on drama or bad things, which I don't want to remember.
Frankly I don't blame him.
I hope he just doesn't pan Duke Nukem 3D as being an artifact of a bygone generation, as many modern game journalists have done. I think the game was, and is, a whole lot more than that.

Don't hold your breath. They love to do that simply to justify the shitty trends of today.

Video game journalism is now about how much cum can be sucked from a publisher's cock, or how beta male you have to be to get your cock sucked by a chick with purple hair.
In other words: Infinitely beta male, because it's not fucking happening.

He's on Twitch right now. I have asked him if he would like to join duke4.net forums. He hasn't been there yet but maybe he'll join. He's been busy lately.
UPDATE: http://www.twitch.tv/georgebroussard Here's his Twitch.tv channel.

It was interesting watching him create the game and how much work went into such tiny details.
