CultureShock, I have a question. What if DNF comes out like a truly superb game with fantastic gameplay, story, graphics etc. would you acknowledge that? I know you don't like George and 3DR, but the question about the game itself.

It's DY KILLER

as in LADY KILLER CASINO, Duke's own casino at the beginning of the game. Read it in the docs. That turret is the plasma cannon on top of the Casino, in which he uses to punch a hole clean through that mothership. Duke gets knocked off the cannon onto his back, gives the ship the finger, then the floor below him collapses.

Let's face it. George had some genius programmers and artists on his team and was plucked from obscurity by Scott Miller. He had other talent and other money at his fingertips that did most of the talking. His major contribution to Duke Nukem 3D was being anal in the last three months. He was the guy standing at the chess board who spotted the wrong moves Kasparov made but found out after blowing $20 million that having a big mouth and performing in the heat of the action were two different things. IMHO the best thing George can do is STFU. Stop trying to be clever. Stop making excuses. Let the talent do the job and keep your fingers OUT of the pie. Yes, George. I'M LOOKING AT YOU.
