Anarchy and Communism or Socialism are incompatible. A state is required to allocate resources. Also, good luck having real property rights under communism.

Topkek. I can link you to wikipedia articles all day. Anarcho-Communists are just as dumb as Anarcho-Capitalists. Neither is an anarchy for more than a day. Anarcho-Communism becomes an oligarchy, and Anarcho-Capitalism slips into Corporatism. Neither is sustainable in any fashion.

Apparently, I'm a communist...

Nah, I rigged that one, this is what it came out as;
http://www.political...-7.00&soc=-1.49

Not sure what that implies to be honest, it's probably half right as David Cameron is on the upper right according to their chart and I don't much like his politics - then again, I don't like any politicians so that also might mean absolutely nothing. Test was a laugh though.

I check outside wiki too.

Anarcho-Capitalism, Anarcho-Communism, Anarcho-Primitivism, Anarcho-Syndicalism exists.

Wiki provide source,
Any unsourceful things are considered vandalism and get taken down fast.

Example some democrats can have conservative view such as anti-abortion, anti-drug etc.

Fidel Castro is a communist.
But has some conservative views such as anti-drugs, anti-gambling and anti-prostitution.

Conservative view I have are anti-drug, pro-death penalty.

In concept maybe. Feel free to provide examples of any successful applications. (And I say this as someone who thinks Anarcho-Primitivism and Anarcho-Syndicalism could maybe work if the people wanted it.)

I wasn't saying that Wikipedia isn't a good source, I was saying that you can't just post links to defend your beliefs.

The Democratic Party is center-right anyway.

Communism isn't inherently left or right.

These are not conservative views. (They are not liberal views either. They are politically neutral.)

Communism is far-left.

Some countries have democrat party, Christian democrat etc.
They are centre,
Some centre-right.
Some centre to centre right.

Some countries have socialist party and they are far-left instead of left.

So where is your source that communism "isn't inherently left or right."

They call conservative views cus conservative are anti-abortion, anti-drug.
Some can call other names for the views.

That's probably not very helpful. In general I think there should be a decent amount of government ensuring infrastructure, law, education, and equal access to most opportunities for economic advancement (which sometimes might include some social services/welfare). On the other hand I believe that for the most part people should be able to do whatever they want within reason (reason being logical and with respect to their locality). But I also think that a good measure of skepticism about things is healthy. (Note that I live in the US) For example if you listen to many Republicans (mostly of the modern or Tea Party variety as opposed to classical ones from 6 decades ago) and follow many of their economic ideas to their logical conclusion you'll find that in the end most people will get fucked. However, Democrats are also in the pockets of large corporations so even though they often (well, let's go with more like half of the time) approach things from what I would consider a fairly pragmatic viewpoint they tend to be ineffectual and often end up with their own ideas completely gutted and manipulated for personal gain by members of their own party (and in some cases themselves). So while I tended to vote Democrat in the last few elections it kind of felt like I was stabbing myself.

So to put it another way I don't trust anyone and tend to vote for whoever sounds the least idiotic. I also greatly dislike extreme viewpoints and find them an immediate turnoff. Politically speaking there's generally a compromise position in most issues if people are being honest.

Quick edit: Most ideologies/isms will work as long as the group is small enough and committed enough. But once you get beyond a certain size of group or a certain level of subversiveness it kind of all falls apart.

Communism as in Real World, is an oppressive regime. Fascism as in Real World is an oppressive regime. Where does left-right come in, or what does it mean? It is meaningless to the people living under it

@ Mblackwell - no ideology will work. It's just a brain exercise for current and future perfessors solving the troubles of our world in a classroom :)

I tell my dad he's voting against himself when he votes Democrat. He is anti-gay marriage, anti-illegal immigration, anti-big brother government, anti-abortion. The list goes on and on. But because he worked his entire adult life at a union shop he became a one issue voter for Democrat simply because they are in bed with the unions.

I think for a lot of people it becomes like supporting a football team, that's their banner, end of conversation.

Every political parties have flaws.
When the leader acts like an ass then is the problem.
It's extremely rare for a politician to be honest and not abuse their power and steal the cash.

Far-left believes in racial equality, anti-fascism, anti-racism, anti-capitalism etc.
Far-right - ultra nationalism, racism, fascism, white supremacist, inequality,

I know communism have fuckups, main cause because leaders when they have full powers they tend to abuse it, since humans are generally a greedy species.
Dictators are on both side and they can abuse powers.

Only politician I know that REALLY follow his ideology is Jose Mujica.
He's not a communist but is a socialist.
He doesn't steal all people's money, actually he does contrary, gives over 90% of his money to charities, refuses to live in a presidental palace, owns old cars, have nothing fancy.

Is same like many religious people don't follow their religion properly.

PS
Pete Seeger was a communist but was a really good guy.
Cared for the environment, was a pacifist, oppose wars did a lot of good.
He wasn't a leader.

I think most people in general are one issue voters. My sister votes Republican because she's anti-abortion. But if you were to ever have a conversation with her (and not tell her who's viewpoint it was) she'd probably agree with the current president on most issues.

Edit:

I think it was Daniel Quinn that said that every system we've designed assumes that people will act a certain way and become "better", but people are not better (or worse) they are just people and political and social systems should be designed (or evolve naturally) with that in mind rather than a one-size-fits-all attempt at "improving" people.

Here is my test result. I was rather suprised I wasn't further right. But I found problems with a bunch of questions. I felt many of them required a qualifier and not simply an AGREE or DISAGREE answer. Those might be the ones that pulled me towards the center.

Some of these polls can only have agree and disagree,

There are some with 5 answer per questions.

Strongly agree.
Somewhat agree.
Neutral
Somewhat disagreeing.
Strongly disagreeing.
No answer

Example I think.

mine's almost in the exact same spot (-0.4,-5.3) thought the test was a little too straight forward (a black & white answer for a complex question) so the results are predictable

You know the political phrase "screw you, I've got mine"? Unions are "screw all of the rest of you, we've got ours as long as we stick together".

Confucius say : Politics are like eating shit, because shit is on the menu. If the human experience was known to be viewed through the eyes of the soul, everything would rise into place.
