I had a bit of fun messing around last night and came up with this, chopping bits off existing fonts and adding other bits, sort of inspired by the N64 logo.

I made this one but i'm not really satisfied about it, i want something like this but with true colors of the original logo and some light and shaders on the edges.

I kind of agree but I think it would be better if they refined it.
Only a couple of things bug me about the original, one being the uneven weighting of the letters, like the thinner left leg on the 'A' and 'M'.
The second being the 'R' & 'S' because they are simply stretched out which causes them to be a heavier weight,
which makes little sense because the letters are of no greater importance than the other letters in the word.
In this particular example it makes the company name appear to be 'REDS Ealm'

I worry that the new logo isn't very recognisable and suffers from a common misunderstanding that sans-serif fonts are what makes a logo look modern.
I think the subtle serif of the original gave it a unique regal look that suits the whole 'realms' theme perfectly.
I think the digital devolver logo is a good example of a logo that looks clean and modern without sacrificing the 'western' feel of their brand.

Bottom right... I like the more straight forward, less stylized look to it. When I look at it through social filters, I see it as "safe but recognizable".

Out of these three I'd say top right (2), but actually I'd still prefer the one from the previous set everyone seems to like so far (the bottom right out of the previous four choices).
But if you still want to keep one of these three, then would you please consider taking the "3D" part and "embedding" it in the word "REALMS" by making E, A, L and M smaller than R and S, and moving the 3D part down a bit?

I'd say upper left also. I feel the junction between the 3 & D in this set to be off. They look offset and it seems wrong. Ditto about the larger R and S on realms.

I tried with the old font ( sorry for the photoshop quality fail ) and it looks pretty imo, and for the last 3 pics i'm meh about these, still liking the first one.

This is closer to my vision of the 3D being combined out of one block. It's got an arcade text type feel to it which may work, mainly the blocky end of the D could be rounded and proper, I threw this together out of blocks
