When I started the vid, I thought the first song he played was Pounding Headache from Wolf3D, until remembering he limited it to strictly Doom 1 and 2.

I think Deixaz is just being cautious. I think he was planning on making this video anyway but then the news hit midway into it. I can see some people being emotional over the death acting irrationally towards this purely because it only just happened.

Not saying those people are correct or anything, I just think he doesn't want such conversations distracting from the main point.
