EDIT: I can't figure out for the life of me how to get this working in Doomsday. I'm following the instructions but to no avail.

Starting with DHMP release 20181224 all included packages carry the 'hidden' tag and can be toggled from within the Doomsday addon/mod management interface, thus handpicking and placing only single packages from the DHMP into your addons folder render these packages invisible in Doomsday.

U need an older version of GZdoom(version 3.5.1) to run this
OR
U need to remove 03_dark_shader.wad in shaders.pk3 inside doom_remake_4.pk3 (open it with 7zip or SLADE) if using newer version of GZdoom and .bat launchers.

I just put the zip file directly into my 'runtime' folder and it worked for me.

I don't want to be harsh, but while the models are good, I can't help but think the animation is atrocious. Doesn't Doomsday allow assigning more than 1 animation frame per sprite frame? (Unlike GZDoom) Everything seems to be a bit stiff, robotic, linear, no organic fluidity or sense of speed variation or force to any motion. The key to the success is not focusing the style of Romero, but focusing on new ideas, and fit them well with the classic Romero style. But that would need the original man himself, and Sigil will be the episode promised on that thread.
As for his design elements, the most visible thing is how he likes to limit the movement of the players, often creates catwalks with deadly pit below, that makes the gameplay harder for the player even with low enemy count. For example some cacos can easily make a terrible situation when the player has to maneuver in catwalks. Also he likes puzzles like what it was shown in E4M6 for example. Lately he added these zigzaggy things to make his maps look more aesthetically pleasing too.

Well, RC2 was released anyway. Said RC3 was supposed to hit a week after New Years. Hasn't happened yet...
As for Plutonia, I hear the FDTWiD project is on hiatus currently.

I'm waiting for "The Way NERVE Did" project, how they interpret the visuals of Meakim and Heath. IMHO those guys surpassed Romero at the art of design, loved those well crafted layouts and adventurous maps.

OK now, I'm risking to get a warning or even a ban on this forum (since liberalism never allowed the truly liberal freedom of speech, unless it's fully liberal), but I have to look at the white elephant again what's going on here.
In my opinion transgender is not a normal thing. People in the history of our universe will never accept it as a truly normal human behaviour. In fact, it's totally against the way how nature works, how the human race work. Transgender spreaded heavy debate between people, but I'm sure that 95% of them(myself included) will never accept it as something to be celebrated openly. In this case, virginity should be celebrated the same way, or being obese, or whatever.
Tolerance is a different thing. In my opinion everything is allowed for people which doesn't hurt other people in their rights. Of course, freedom of speech is allowed, even illiberal/conservative views until it goes into hatred. Of course killing, hurting, discriminating or arrogantly mocking transgender people shouldn't be accepted. People chose it, let them live that way. But when the majority just think it's not a normal, natural thing, it also should be accepted. And celebrating such things in my opinion is openly provoke these people, and this should be accepted by the pro-transgender as well.
I have to put a disclaimer here: No Rest for the Living is probably my all time favourite mapset, if I have to choose one for a "desert island", it would be the one. One of it's authors is a trans as well. That won't change my opinion, I absolutely love his maps. Those, who start hating it just because of an author's private life is truly a retarded thing. But at the same time, threads like this, and the anti-antitrans narratives are just as bad in my opinion, and if you are not allowed to share your civilised opinion, it won't result more tolerance. It will result people go into the regular Doom thread on 4chan, and start shitposting about the case.

I don't agree with picking a fight over some nonsense, but it's pretty telling that the mod didn't just tell you to fuck off for being off topic or derailing, instead he/she/it (lol) made it clear it's because you disagreed with their accepted dogma: "Trans women are women, trans men are men, the end.
