Ain't that bad really, it's a very decent WW2 shooter... Not as good as Infinity Ward would have done it, but you shouldn't exclude things just because the original guys didn't touch it...

Bugs me that the SP campaign was so short though, yeah, shorter than COD4
But at least there's coop, and appearantly some funky cheats to unlock...

Multiplayer isn't bad either, it's pretty much the same as COd4, but in different levels, and other weapons of course... It doesn't feel very different from COD4 otherwise... At least not to me...

I have been playing Half Life 2 as well as Gears of war 2.

I tried booting duke 3d up on my vista machine to play Duke it out in DC and it would not work at all

I started playing Shadow Warrior for the first time today... I don't understand how this game did not sell well its really fun.

Maybe because the character was not American there was a disconnect. Regardless for me I think its a great game. Would love to see it come to XBLA... maybe for free to see people play it

Nonetheless, Shadow Warrior is a very fun superb game that should have got much more attention. Also, if you finished the game and enjoyed it, there are 2 freeware add-ons called "Wanton Destruction" and "Twin Dragon". Both of them were meant to be sold retail but got cancelled. What was finished of them got released as freeware. You can download them here. Wanton Destruction was made by Sunstorm Interactive so that says a lot already.

Thats a shame. I was thinking last night... If 3dRealms released Shadow Warrior for free on XBLA many people would play it and it would gain attention and there would probably noise to make a second one. But I doubt George would EVER do that. Sad though they could continue a good franchise.

edit:I had an idea last night that not everyone might like but i got to thinking about how popular the 3dRealms games were and how Shadow Warrior and ROTT didn't sell well enough for sequels....

Well what if 3DR released Shadow Warrior and ROTT on XBLA for FREE... that way more people would play them and there would be more noise around 3dr older games... A whole new generation of players would be enjoying the games... It would be a GREAT marketing move and if it worked out right there might still be a market for both games.
