I haven't played Myst much for lacking time (and it requires a lot), but the little I saw was amazing. The world of Myst is quite absorbent.
So, from what I have played, it surely is an experience worth trying. very relaxing, but I can't talk about the game itself.

Requiring a lot of time is yet another reason why I shouldn't get it.

For those who are interested, there's an Ubisoft weekend sale at GOG: http://www.gog.com/p...nd_promo_020514

I completed the first Myst without any help in 1.5 days (don't know the exact playtime, I only remember playing it a few hours on a thrusday and then completing it on the next sunday. But I played it from morning til late evening that sunday wiht only two breaks for eating).

GOG.com has a few retro sort of games like Hotline Miami (by Devolver Digital) and Retro City Rampage on sale that people might find interesting.

There's also this thing going on at GOG called the "insomnia sale" which is basically a continuous stream of game sales where there's 250 copies of a game at 90% off, and once all the copies are sold another game takes its place.
Personally I find that annoying since you have to be at your computer basically non-stop otherwise you'll probably miss the game you're waiting for. Doesn't really give everyone a fair chance at each sale (they last roughly 2 minutes each).
Fortunately most of them are indie games I've never heard of so it's probably nothing to lose sleep over.

Some great deals on two of my favorite games, State of Decay ($10) and System Shock 2 ($1.99).

For those interested, Battlefield 3 is now free on Origin as part of the On The House promo, although it doesn't say how long this will be available for.

For those who haven't noticed, GOG.com is having their summer sale right now!

AFAIK all games are 50% off, plus flash sales every few hours up to 90% off, so it's worth checking out a few times a day. Some great deals.

For the record, there's a list of all the flash sales so far here: http://www.gog.com/f...e_tracker/page1

GoG gives away a copy of Magrunner: Dark Pulse to anyone today. The game looks like a mix of Portal and Hard Reset. I think it´s worth the price!

Thanks for the heads up, Gambini! I had never heard of Magrunner but sounds really cool. You can't argue with that price!

Yeah the summer sale has been awesome so far. Got a lot of games dirt cheap, both new ones, and ones I have on steam that I wanted DRM free.

I encourage people to continue checking it out, the flash sales are still cycling through, repeating every now and then in case you missed something.

Grabbed a bunch of stuff too. Sadly I missed the GTAIV sale, I pirated it back in the day but wanted to own it legit as it's such a good game (yeah I know I bashed its optimization but it's a good game). The GTA series collection isn't THAT expensive in Brazilian currency considering you get VC, SA and IV with all goodies for less than what V would cost new, but I still hoped to get it for less.

Just picked up the first 3 Broken Sword games for less than 4 dollars, and it would have actually cost more if I only picked 2 of them! Crazy!

Nah this thread is good for all sales; GOG, Steam, Humble Bundle. Nice, clean, and succinct.

For the next 36 hours, Blood Dragon is 75% off at $4.50. Highly recommended, especially for this price; IIRC it's never been so cheap, and won't get any cheaper.

It's been $3.75 before on other stores but they won't give you a Steam key (although it uses Ubisoft's U(Don't)Play anyway).

If you're feeling cheeky, Defy Gravity can be bought for 30 cents and its trading cards that you can sell get you back your money and a few more cents.

I'm sure some assholes will drive the card prices down to the point where it won't be profitable anymore. It always happens with Steam trading cards.

The new Shadow Warrior for only 6,99 as a flash sale on Steam! Don't miss on this ! The game has flaws but I think it's really great, one of the best modern FPS i've played, it's a lot like Hard Reset except better crafted in every aspect, I'm almost 40hours into it now and still not completely done with it (I'm on my 3rd playthrough this time on Heroic Difficulty)

Also Metro Last Light Complete Edition for 6,79 ! I'll take it. i liked metro2033 a lot and was waiting for a sale on this one.
