They also said all future DLC/updates will be free.
It's no longer a train simulator type situation with DLC

I am curious: Did anyone try the steam controller? And if yes, what was your impression?

Owned it for over a year. It absolutely sucks for the games that require constant use of XABY buttons, like slashers or beat em ups, but much, much better for FPS/TPS where you need precise aim. I can't aim for shit with the classic controllers, but with gyro it just feels natural. Grip buttons are great too, can't believe that no one else is using them for their controllers. Customization is amazing and can help fix many limitations of the classic controllers. But it still won't beat keyboard and mouse in these games. Overall, I'm not even sure where to use it anymore. It will probably be a good choice if you like to play FPS/TPS on a chouch.

I’ve had a few issues. NOLF is quite crashy when I press Capslock, of all things. With NOLF2 I’ve had trouble with the menus not fitting on the screen at higher resolutions. But I’ve not spent long fiddling to try to fix these issues.
RPS ordinarily doesn’t encourage downloading unofficial versions of games, but at the same time, we’re strong advocates behind the concept of abandonware, where individuals and groups preserve and maintain the availability of games that are no longer available for legitimate purchase. NOLF and its sequel are certainly much younger games than would normally qualify for that, but my goodness, all the potential owners of the game sure have gone out of their way to ensure they can’t profit from it. These games have been available for over a year, and no one’s done anything yet.

If you already have the non-special edition on Steam, the key you get from this will unlock all the extra bonus content.
