Lol the same image as before, it´s OK I really appreciate your help. I understand what you mean I sometimes try to be as faithful to the original sprite as possible and be 3d as well. If you wanna modify it feel free to do so.

I think is better to have both versions of voxel to give people more choice. I will send you the voxels later as I am in a hurry now.

Unlikely to be added, hence I didn't bother adding those sprites.

Just a question regarding magicavoxel and the KVX format. If you google "magicavoxel" you will see a lot of projects with fancy lightning effects. So I assume you can add these effects in magicavoxel, but the KVX format doesn't support it? You might know Reikall and his voxel addons for DOOM / HERETIC / HEXEN. He added glowing and other effects to his voxels, but how?

Jack, Magicavoxel doesn´t allow to save as kvx. but vox format. In order to change it from vox format to kvx format you must use Slab6.

MagicaVoxel allows for creating very cool renders with all facing lighting and other effects. But Build is Build, you cannot have those.

When it comes to GZDoom. I don't remember any extra effects for voxels, maybe it is port's thing or those were boosted up promo pictures.

The conclusion is that for Build you cannot have any extra effects.

That is because Reikall's voxel packs are not only voxels replacers. If you look inside the pk3 you will find brightmaps as well as other files. Now I'm not versed that well into Doom modding buy I assume adding light sources in modern GZdoom can not be that much of a problem. Build engine is another story AFAIK.

I see... because light sources are only possible in polymer, but no voxels in this renderer ...
