Looking to get banned, Helel? I don't know who you think you are or where you get off posting the goatse special edition extended director's cut here (link removed) but you'd better knock it the fuck off. If you want to be some little gay boy who foams at the mouth for other little gay boys in tight jeans, go right ahead, but keep it away from these forums.

Damn. That's pretty overt. Can others still talk about gayity when the topic comes up? Or do you adamantly hate gay people that much?

I don't hate gay people, he just doesn't need to be posting entire galleries of gay porn on this forum. It's unacceptable. In fact, it's even in the rules! This isn't some 4chan "hurrrr look pictures of cocks" board.

Yeah, I realize we've all seen the goatse pic a million and one times but we really don't need the whole gallery of pics it came from linked here, warning text or not.

Sorry if I came off sounding like I hate gay people, I don't--though I do think it's kind of gross when it's flamboyantly shoved in my face (no pun intended), what people do in their own homes is their own business, and you can't control how you're born. I was just fucking pissed off at the level of disrespect for this forum for anyone to even briefly consider posting something like that, let alone actually do it, especially someone who has been here for so long.

Honestly, Goatse does nothing for me anymore. Not even a cringe. I have had a high performance computer in my room since I was 12. As of October 22nd, that will be a full 11 years of seeing fucked up shit on The Internet. Snuff and child porn are where I draw the line, though.

Huh? I posted it before in The Post Thread and no one minded. To be frank, I wasn't trying to be "holier than thou" and posting everything I wanted. Also I warned everyone about the content. Oh, well...

Those pics aren't about gays or/and emo. They are just funny in their special way.

TX, I am sorry. It was never my intention to be disrespectful in any way to this forum.

Let's get back to discussion about cute emo boys/girls.

I had an ex who was emo. Bitch would cut herself like it was nothin, and was a fucking drama queen. In the end, let's just say I was put on probation cuz of her "emo ways". Emo people are hella annoying and wants the world to feel sorry for them. Fuck that.

In an attempt to remain on topic, I think emo chicks are pretty good looking. Not the ones with scars up and down their wrists and arms, the ones who have cute hair and makeup. :(

Whoa, score! I threw "emo chick" into GIS and half of the results are naked. Go go gadget lack of self esteem!

Glam metal and synthpop are half the reason the 80's were the worst decade ever.

Hey, at least there were a whole mess of decent metal acts popping up to balance it out! It's amusing how an entire decade can be so bad yet so good at once.

Image Googling for just "chick" gives similar results, so I don't quite see your point.
Try "emo girl" and notice the difference.

A lot of people have a very cliched view of the eighties and the music produced in that decade.
Apart from metal, there's loads of good stuff from that era - underground guitar (noise) bands and college rock from the US, 'indie' pop and rock from Britain, the white/black genre crossover, postpunk, industrial, (new) wave, hiphop, etc..

I'm not worried about accidentally accessing child porn through google image search. It's not like I was searching specifically to get to CP.

The FBI doesn't give a fuck. You can be arrested for accessing it.

On the lighter side of things, my doctors neighbor had his computer confiscated cause his 12 year old kid was looking for girls his own age on Limewire. LOL!

Hell man, there was a time when I would look at emos in my country and talk with my mates about how the younger generations have degenerated really bad and how our generation is the last generation that didn't end up being defined by self hating, manipulable and genetically inferior people.
But then, less than 10 years later we've got to see the beliebers (Justin Bieber fans) that all dress like him and cut their hair in a way that resembles a helmet made out of hair.
So after this episode, how can I ever justify all that I've said about Emo people, when the next generation after them proved to be at least 10 times lamer and even more genetically broken?
I don't even dare to imagine the generation that's going to make Justin Bieber fans look cool by comparison...

I since decided to be ignore this because obviously, the world can go to shit even without me having to check it on a daily basis.
The less I get trolled by these new kid generations, the more I will get to keep my hair's density and it's color intact!

I somehow simply know that Emos and Justin Bieber fans, will certainly not make good politicians when their age will be right for that.
What I do fear however, is that I might not be lucky enough to die early, before I will be forced to see how these generations will start destroying everything and start world wars on a monthly basis just for the sake of trolling themselves in real life.

Well, aren't we arrogant... Maybe it was not your generation but the generation before or before it etc.

People do various shit when they're young. Like play video games for example. Then, as the time passes, most would brush it away like a "kid thing" and become "grown-up". In all seriousness, being emo or bieber or headbanger or rapper or whatever isn't gonna make person like that for the rest if his live. Not that it would be a bad thing, but I doubt many people remain the same from 12 years onward. Especially concerning various interests, clothing styles or general external bahaviour.

Might not be lucky enough to die early? Dude, you can die anytime you want. So either shut up about your wish to die early or go and cut yourself to death already. It is an emo thread afterall.

My parents and people from my parent's generation have also noticed this and confirmed my opinions on this matter either by telling me directly, or by talking amongst themselves about it.
And I didn't circumvent the teenager stage but when I was a teenager, I never defined myself as being part of a musical genre that dictates what type of person I am.
I listened mostly to rock and pop when I was a kid but I never called myself a rocker or had long hair and black shirts, just because that was the norm.
I never allowed a single type of music or a person to define the way I think, talk, dress and look in general.
And since I was a kid, I always appreciated older music and not just what's in the world charts.
I have also seen kids from the emo \ justin bieber generation that are not affiliated to these types of music and which can coincidentally be quite smart and open minded and harder to manipulate.
If some members of that generation felt my upper remarks were generalizations for an entire generation of people, then I have to tell them that's not the case.

Actually it has been the norm throughout most of human history for people to go from childhood to adulthood without passing through a long semi-childhood state in their teenaged years. In the old days, people were expected to work at regular adult jobs as soon as they were able bodied, girls got married at thirteen, and so on. Of course there were certain specializations that required a lot of training, but even then as apprentices people had adult responsibilities. The idea that teenagers are a separate breed with their own music and culture and less responsibility is a relatively recent invention (and in fact it does still not exist in many societies).

First off, if you look up the statistics, they will tell you those teenagers are our generation. The cutoff for Millienials is being born in the year 2000. That said, our cultural divide is massive between the older and the younger members.

I don't know what it's like in Russia, but you don't know anything about shitty generations. Nothing beats the American Baby Boomer generation. They are the most selfish, narcissistic, childish, stubborn, dishonest, myopic, self-aggrandizing generation ever. I've gone into one or two rants about them on here before, and I'm not writing another, but we've been having decades of steady improvement over here. I was born in 1988. I grew up under their command, and God damn do they suck. They still suck now. They are spiteful teenagers with grey hair.

Over here society has been gradually getting better for a long time now. Don't confuse teenage culture with actual intelligence and critical thinking skills. Teenagers are mostly idiots and will devour any crap that appeals to their emotions, and as a result their culture is pretty hit and miss. Teenage culture was great in the 1960's and 70's, sucked in the 80's, was great in the 90's and sucked again in the 2000's.

Teenage culture has zero bearing on how intelligent someone will be. I can tell you from life experience that Generation X'ers who grew up in the 1980's, one of the most culturally depraved decades ever, are far smarter, more rational, and are morally superior to their predecessors. Us Millenials grew up in the 2000's, which was kind of like the "Diet 80's" and I'm astounded at our moral compass and ability to sniff out bullshit from any level of authority.

I'm a staunch realist by nature. I am only optimistic because I see people for who they really are. I know that this decade will be one of the worst ever. But I totally see humanity recovering from it, and I know that people our age will be responsible for our recovery. That doesn't scare me at all because the older I get the more I realize just how open minded, intelligent, rational, and perceptive our generation really is. We aren't selfish to the point where we only care about those we immediately know. We know when we're being lied to and we aren't controlled by fear unlike our idiotic Boomer parents.

The cycle will rinse and repeat. We will grow old and we will be disliked by the youth because our generation was the final one to be birthed and raised under the old older. A somewhat ruthless society dominated by rigged governments, mega corporations, bankers and consumerism gone wild. We will inherently retain some of our "impure" traits and will be chastised for our lower intelligence and old fashioned ways.
