Your PC specs  "What kind of PC you you have?"

#1

Finally finished building my PC! All I have to do is put in Win 7 Pro & update the drivers and ready to rock this bitch! Here's the specs & parts I used

So you got any parts & specs to share? I'll post a photo of my new PC later on.

Hamster on a Wheel 7 Processor
JVC VHS video card
Dodge RAM emblem
Duralast car battery
Cardboard beer case. As many drive bays as I want. Every time I need a new drive bay, I cut a hole in the case
LaserDisc burner
No SSD. I have 15 Asian kids tied up and I force them to memorize numbers

Which one? I'm tempted to post the C64 specs, but nah, I'll do it properly.

Main workstation;
  • i945P Motherboard
  • Pentium D 920 2.80GHz CPU
  • Seasonic Enough Watts PSU (Can't remember exactly, all I know is it was more than adequate)
  • nVidia GeForce GTX 460 GPU
  • Case built to specifications by K&M
  • Both DVD drives failed a long time ago, can't buy more beige ones, can't be botherd, use the network
  • Liquid cooling (Single loop, XSPC RASA CPU block, EK-460 GPU block, 2xHardware Labs Black Ice 120mm Radiators)
  • 6x1TB Western Digital SATA-II HDD (JBOD)
  • 2x2TB Western Digital Caviar Black HDD (RAID0, for uncompressed HD Video)
  • 4GB Kingston DDR2-667Hz RAM
  • Intensity Pro Capture Card
  • Mercury LR138 Capture Card (For analog sources)
  • A lot of fans but runs fairly quiet, no LEDs or cathodes, not my thing
  • SoundBlaster Audigy 2 Platinum Sound Card
  • Weird floppy drive that has a card reader built in that won't read cards larger than 1GB

Still awaiting replacement, oh, and the cooling system has a slow leak as of a few days ago.

Core i7 2600K @ 4.5 GHz
CoolerMaster Hyper212 Plus CPU cooler
4x 120mm case fans (two intake in front. two exhaust at top near CPU cooler and back of case)
Asus P8P67 Deluxe B3 revision (fixed Sandy Bridge chipset)
Cooler Master Silent Pro M2 850W modular PSU
Cooler Master Storm Scout ATX case
16 GB Corsair DDR3 1333 MHz RAM
Nvidia GTX 670 4 GB VRAM
LG BD-ROM/DVD-RW drive
Asus BD-RE/DVD-RW burner
WD Green 2 TB 5400 RPM hard drive (x6)
WD Green 3 TB 5400 RPM hard drive (x1)
WD Black 2 TB 7200 RPM hard drive (x1)
Crucial M4 SSD 256 GB (RAID 0)
Crucial M225 SSD 128 GB
Asus Xonar DX 7.1 sound card
Acer S243HL 24 inch LED monitor (3x w/Nvidia Surround)

Should last until Intel comes out with Skylake (2015). Rather do little upgrades to improve longevity than new computers more often like I used to.
