6 next songs in my playlist :

Iron Maiden - Alexander the Great
Metallica - Harvester of sorrow
Metallica - The God That Failed
Metallica - Trapped under Ice
Red Hot Chili Peppers - she's only 18
Grave Digger - Last supper

speaking of Metallica; anyone going to the 'escape from the studios' tour ?

What does my eye see, another person aware of Grave Digger? Heftig. :)

If Metallica would be showing up around Nijmegen that I might visit their show.

Did you ever heard of Rage, Sacred Steel, Running Wild and Therion? I love those guys just as much as I love Grave Digger (hence my avatar).

Today the first Escaflowne Soundtrack CD arrived. Escaflowne is one of my favourite anime series (next to Neon Genesis Evangelion), so I just had to buy the soundtrack. B)

Through the past few weeks I've been enjoying yet another great album from Tool, called 10,000 Days. For me it's simply the type of album that I just can't see a worse song, they're all amazing. The best album of the year so far, imo. Yesterday I bought the newest Godsmack CD entitled IV and I must say it's incredible too. Very dynamic songs like Speak, Enemy or the fastest of the album, Temptation but also some cool slower songs, like Hollow.

I didn't find Godsmack's latest particularly dynamic, but it had its moments. They've gotten better over time, though, I'll give them that. I'm still reserving "Album of the Year" status to the new Maiden album. Now there is a dynamic album.

Blitzkrieg - Legion. (Probably a forgotten legend of metal.)

You should definitely check out the music of Squarepusher if you like Aphex Twin's stuff. Squarepusher has made a lot of really great albums, plus he is a fantastic bass player.
