New Perturbator. Slightly different sound.

I really like the idea of classical music being used as Quake's BGM. I've somewhere an ancient WAD which does the same to Doom.

The most beautiful piece of music ever composed in my opinion. Nothing I've listened to since hearing it for the first time as a kid has matched it. And it's just based on a repeating note and chord progression.

Also, never played this game (at least not enough to remember) but this track (and especially this cover) rocks.

Yup, "Songs of distant earth" is a great album. Actually my father borrowed it from me, and keeps using it to test the hi-fi settings...

My favourite Oldfield album to this day. Was thinking of doing a cover at some point.

Give it a try, at least try RA2 with Tiberian Sun. C&C games have great OST, well, maybe aside from C&C3 when they decided to go with orchestra music.

A friend of mine from almost 20 years ago now introduced me to the original C&C. "Just Do It" is one of my favourite tracks. I did run RA a few times as well as Tiberian Sun, but just didn't get into it much. At the time I was more into Age of Empires and building rather than combat RTS. Do need to get into it again though.

Check out Klepacki's own site if you like the music, there are also some unreleased tracks for many games aside from C&C, by the way. It's very difficult to pick just one favorite track when all of them are great.

Speaking of "Just Do it Up", really loved this version especially:

Yeah, Klepacki's stuff is great from everything I've heard.

C&C Renegade it's unfairly underrated on every aspect, only the idea of an FPS setted in your favourite RTS universe is awesome. Only later Halo Wars tried with the reverse operation.

I only use Spotify when I'm not home, but I'm really glad I did. Poked at their Discover thing and found an astonishing group I had never heard of before, shame, too. Reminds me of Soen and Porcupine Tree if they had borrowed some Meshuggah (not a fan personally) guitar riffs, it just works super well. Crazy how they are first-timers too (afaik it's their only band) and they're showing so much talent.

Fan cut footage from a few different audience cams of the recent Ayreon Universe concert in Amsterdam. Can't wait for the DVD/Bluray to come out (probably in a year, if the Theater Equation release is anything to go by). I've seen a couple clips so far and it's just awesome. Trying to hold myself back from watching any more.
