New favorite song in the whole world? I dunno. But damn, this was an actual song? Awesome, I knew the lyrics were in English, I said so as a kid but nobody belived me. If you don't know which kids show it was in... You should be ashamed of yourself - unless it never aired in your country or you were born after they re-dubbed it, I was furious when I found they'd done that. The scene it was used in influenced me, made me into the noisy anti-social dickhead that I am today.

A country/folk musician playing a weird synthpop tune.
Love it.

That's odd, I just had Sample and Hold playing in my head (before opening this thread) and this is the first version to come up:

Neil Young - Sample and Hold (live in Berlin 1982)

Also:

Neil Young - Cortez the Killer (live in San Francisco 1978)

Great concert, even though he played only three synth songs from Trans. Wonderful album.

Makes me want to learn to use a vocoder :)

Demos from when Ween was gearing up to record Quebec. A lot of really interesting stuff that didn't make the cut, but even hearing the different instrumentation on some of the songs that did end up on the album is pretty neat...

I dare you to listen to it and not walk away with it playing in your head... I like it, but you might not.
