Currently listening to that newer Alice in Chains album, "Black Gives Way to Blue".

Great album. It divided the AiC fanbase as some believed it was unfair to Layne to reform (I personally like AiC as they stand now), but as comeback albums go it's fantastic.

I haven't heard any non-Layne AiC albums... If it's good maybe I should check it out <_<

There is only one LP without Layne

What a great cover! I like it very much <_<

It's not a bad album, but it's not a good AiC record. I would have preferred that they used a different name, but at least it wasn't as bad as Sublime with Rome.

I didn't think Sublime with Rome was too bad as far as playing the old songs live went, but I don't like any of their newer songs that I've heard at all. The guy can definitely cover Brad's vocals pretty well. I'm sort of glad they fell apart though, just because it wasn't "right."

Rome did alright covers, but the new stuff was terrible. The only songs that are somewhat decent are Panic (sounds kinda like Seed and Same In The End) and Same Old Situation (pretty much just a rehash of Jailhouse.) Rome's material is really lame Top 40 crap. If Sublime ain't singin' about Ron Jeremy or heroin, I probably won't give a shit.

Amen to that. I grew up with Sublime... I remember being 12 and playing Quake all day with their self-titled album in the drive instead of the game itself.

Why my sister thought it was appropriate to give me that CD at that age (I actually got it when I was 11), I'll never know. <_<

I've always liked them, but I got into them really heavily about 2 years ago. I've probably listened to 40 Ounce to Freedom and Robbin' The Hood a million times by now.

I burned this and other classical music to replace Quake's CD. All those castle type maps sort of got me going - yes, weird, it's me after all. Posted Image

Yesterday Dave Gahan had a Birthday - he's 50 now. I celebrated it by listening to five Depeche Mode albums in a row <_<

Always adored this song. Darkwavish. Black Celebration and Music For The Masses are great albums.

Coma - Wola istnienia, a song from my native country. It's really adorable, especially if you can understand the lyrics. I never liked my native music stage, but this band shown me that guys from here also can do some good music <_<

I've got this stuck in my head right now, probably going to use this in place of the White Skull track in my video intro logo thingy.

Post was edited a bit after I listened to Siouxsie & The Banshees.

Siouxsie & The Banshees is the goth rock.

Hole (not goth rock) was added when I listened to hole after Siouxsie & The Banshees.

Is better to add in same post instead of making many posts.

I wish I knew more people who didn't know who Radiohead are. Hahahahah.

I'm listening to Mojo Nixon and Skid Roper's album "Root Hog or Die".
Here's a kickin' Woody Guthrie cover!

I bet "most" people anywhere don't know who are Radiohead. Not that they should of course. I actually never listened to them either.

Remember this from the first Born To Be Wild compilation CD. Excellent song and great album of classic rock.
