This was playing in the tattoo parlor today while I was having some ink done. Now it's stuck in my head.

Cracking band.

Right now:

They may not have the heaviest sound, but they still sound fantastically dark.

Phil Collins - I don't care anymore (1983)

Bob Rivers - I don't have hair anymore (comical parody to the song I don't care anymore).

Was afraid to listen to it long time ago. Thought Crockett image would crumble, but after watching all Miami Vice seasons I finally decided to give it a try. It's not that bad. Red 7's Heartbeat of course is better.

Well, neither of these examples of 80s slick rock (Red 7 sounds like John Farnham trying to be Peter Gabriel) comes close to Jan Hammer's music for the series.

Yep. Although, must say I liked that Tim Truman incorporated guitars for a 5th season.

Oh, and about Red 7. I heard it first in Manhunter and liked it then. That's why hearing it in Miami Vice was awesome. Plus it fitted better with the moment in MV than in Manhunter.

Cover of one of my favourite Pumpkins songs by a singer-songwriter from Hong Kong (viva Youtube!).

Meddle is the best Pink Floyd album ever, imo :)

The Pumpkins could rock out with the best of them, but their 'quiet' side was always my favourite.
Glynis is one of the lesser known SP songs, hailing from the "No Alternative" compilation.

I'm not a big fan of NES music, but I'm listening to the Journey to Sillius OST, Level 2 and 3 are probably my favorites, the whole game isn't far from some 16-Bit games and Duke Nukem 1 seems to have borrowed some tiles from it. The OST for this game is amazing, prooves that most NES programmers were lazy, it doesn't even use additional sound chips. Originally, this was meant to be Terminator but Sunsoft lost the license and it went to LJN instead.
