Are you running windows 7 64 bit? There was an issue with eduke32 on that OS around the time of this release. It's since been fixed, but boy were CK Games and Co. unlucky with including that version. Including eduke32 unnecessarily bloats the file size anyway.

I had the same problem too, untill I realized the Duke3d grp was also needed in the same directory. The con errors went away, and the map loaded fine.
My only gripe is the controller configuration in the new Eduke is a mess. I'll have to address this problem in the proper thread.

Btw, this is an old issue but apparently some Polymer lights don't get displayed here. For example, I never saw the light that's visible in the first screenshot of this topic.

I never use the autoload method. It's not even explained anywhere so it'd be a huge mistake to assume that casual usermap players are familiar with the method. (And the oldskool crowd is even less likely to use such "modern" methods to launch mods.) It's simply irrational to name (or rather leave them unnamed) your cons so that they interfere.

Spot lights were disabled on ATI a while ago since Catalyst 12.8 was choking on them. The recent 12.10 appears to have this fixed, so I enabled them again.

That was beautiful, I regret not to have come earlier to see it.
I really like the ambiance, especially the theatre and sounds which were convincing. I'll keep this one in my small collection, on my HD !
Many thanks Eddy (and also the two other guys), you have a great style !

I can't believe that I worked with Lezing and Eddy. Dreams come true!

Finished it, killed all enemies, missed one secret, 8 minutes and 40 seconds. Wow that was a fun ride, and I didn't remember those mini pig cops spawning confetti so that was a nice surprise

Also can't get enough of the new one liners "looks like you won't be home for christmas"

I recommend this map (again) to others who want to experience christmas in Duke 3D. If you want the polymer lights, use one of the 64-bit eduke32s like I did which allows a much smoother framerate (I was above 50 most of the map, dropping to about 25-30 in the final area, using my screen's max resolution).

I'm having trouble wrapping my head around how to use them properly for different hights, and avoided them until just recently.
I didn't notice the exploding effects, I'll look closer next time I play, gotta love the grp setup it doesn't mess with your base game and is super easy to run.
Side Note: I think Gearbox used your pistol sound for thier World Tour videos /JK :

Thanks! The music I found randomly on the internet, so there are no credits... Go and play Duke Xmas 2014 now!
