Not happy with those badges, too retro.

I'm still probably gonna get the whole set, I can get a few (when the prices drop) by selling those CSGO cases.

Took a while to get the third badge, but here's all of them:

So...CGA, EGA, uhh...Enhanced EGA?, VGA, and HD. I think it's kinda neat.

Yeah not a fan of the lack of difference between 2-3 as well as them just using the art from the base game, but the idea is cool.

Well, there IS such a thing as Enhanced EGA. Old Accolade adventure games used it (Les Manley and Altered Destiny. Instead of using the standard 16 colour EGA palette you can set the game for EEGA which chooses 16 colours from a larger 64 colour palette for different scenes. It's rather nice.

EDIT: I don't understand how the whole Steam trading card drop thing works at all. I read the info and stuff but it still escapes my understanding. What exactly are they for and how do you get/use them?

Card drops only happen when you're running the game they're associated with. Each game has a limited amount of drops. When you're reached your limit, Steam will randomly give you booster packs from the game that you got all of the card drops from. However, booster packs are quite rare.

What's the purpose of cards, trading?

You can trade them with others and also for some stuff like a badge or something that is displayed under your Avatar (hooray). They re also tradable for backgrounds and emoticons (even more hooray) .... yes I know, nothing for people with a life outside Steam.

Of course you can have these cards for the purpose of ... err ... having them. And then enjoy to ... well ... have them.

But with a little luck you may also win coupons for games if you have cards (which is, IMHO, the only valid reason for people older than 8 to get these cards).

Well, 95% of all human beings are ... so it is a huge target audience, isn't it?

Badge 2 might be Tandy 1000 mode?
Posted Image
Edit: Took a while to get the image to work

Then badge 3 is EGA with a weird palette... Or else, bedge 2 or 3 is (demo)scene-style, as they devised some modes with CGA and EGA that allowed more color palettes...

I have too much time on my hands.

You can also sell them on steam market for a dollar.

Wouldn't badge 3 be "16 color VGA", as in Duke Nukem II?

It's not "Assault Enforcer", just Enforcer.

I call for them to change the rest to Liztroop, Newbeast etc. as well.

"Liztroop" or "Newbeast" are just the names given in the game data, however the actual name for the monster as given in the manuals are "Assault Trooper" and "Protector Drone".

However "Assault Enforcer" can only be found in fan websites, not official sources.

Not a big deal. And by leap of logic, the name is still correct.

I think in the Duke 64 game manual they renamed the "Newbeast" to "Alien Beast", my memory is a bit blurred from back then but I think that's what he was called in Duke 64.

Hey Hendricks, it is me again pestering you about SWP, sorry
(I know that you are overwhelmed with other more important projects like Deadly Kiss remake,...)

So, eh... what is the current situation now?

I've been busy starting my freshman year in college. The highest priority for me scene-wise is to do some patchwork for Megaton and Redux that I was asked to do just before I got really busy.

Hi, sorry for bump the thread. I don't like to crosspost (if that's the correct word) nor using an On-topic game to draw attention to my remixing skills

But here's a remix I was originally making so Devolver could use in the Shadow Warrior Redux trailer, they told me that already got the music for that, and I stop working on it. Some days ago I finally show the remix here So, if some of you like electronic music, maybe you would like this
