That last picture high treason is so epic. Not the pictures, but what Pc power, edge magazine, gamemaster and Pc gamer said about this game. Truly evolutionary :D

Who remembers this :3

I totally do, I traded Mortal Kombat Trilogy for the Game.com for Duke 3D in the school lunch room, still have it and my Game.com. The pre-release footage in that commercial seems a bit different than the final game too. The 'Born to Be Wild' "cutscene" they got going on I definitely don't remember seeing in the final game. I'll have to get some AA batteries and play through it again. :D It's been a little while.

@High Treason man, that is epic I've never seen that one either! Thanks for posting it, those screenshots look totally badass.

I'll contribute GamePro's review of the Saturn version of Duke. :D

Here's a two page Shadow Warrior ad I found off the web. Not Duke related. Well, Sort of... Since both Duke 3D and SW are made by 3D Realms.

Radical man, that's a great Shadow Warrior Ad. :D I love me some Shadow Warrior. I remember really wanting to get it at Best Buy back in the day but I wasn't allowed. >_> I did manage to get a CD copy direct from 3D Realms right before they closed up shop with physical distribution.

How come you weren't allowed to buy it? Is it b/c you were too young back then? If so how old were you? :-P

I was probably too young for SW myself back in the day, but I still got my mom to buy me a copy when I was 12. :D

I was also like 12, I swindled myself into Duke 3D for my 12th birthday, because my friend's parents bought it for me, instead of the Tiger Grip Games version. Best mistake ever haha. I couldn't manage to swindle myself into a Shadow Warrior or Blood copy though haha.

Unfortunately though that same year my cousins stole my Duke3D CD so the only physical copies of Duke I have are the N64, Saturn, and Game.com versions.

I love how most of the quotes saying how awesome the games are in the GOG trailers are random people from the GOG forums Posted Image

I also like the Duke 3D Xbox Live Arcade trailer.

Strange that GoG trailers used almost exclusively Lunar Apocalypse. Sure, L.A. is shareware, but other two episodes aren't.

L.A. Meltdown is shareware, not Lunar Apocalypse.

Hah! By L.A. I meant L.A. Meltdown. Haven't noticed that Lunar Apocalypse is also L.A. :D

I knew what you meant and that is weird that they show Lunar Apocalypse more than the others. Odd.

Nice scans of Duke Nukem 3D ad from the Terminal Velocity box

I was taking a look at the back of the Duke 3D ad and i was wondering what is that brown thing behind the explosion with the Pig Cop, which is about to fall down to the ground... And which is in front of the sky with some black and red as seen in the screenshot at the left

Attached Image: dukead.png

this is the shot that i'm talking about right now

I think it's the background.

Right. I was thinking, if that brown thing as seen in the shot would be some kind of mountain or something

Or maybe some giant monster about to show up

Why not? That's extremely badass, and most action figures can't hold all their accessories.
