teach me to mod grp weapons

can someone teach me how to
use shadow warrior weapons for duke nukem?

i want the uzi for the pistol
and the shotgun for the machine gun

can someone teach me.. all tools are dos and wont work either

Well, I don't really know what programs people are using these days but DukeRes is an easy-to-use art program.

This is not something a newbie should attempt. Any attempt at "teaching" would be narrating as we did it for you. Try learning with baby steps.

There are several steps you would have to go through: First, you would have to convert the art from the SW palette to the Duke palette, which is not a simple automated procedure if you want it to look good. Then, you would have to extract and redefine the sounds if you want them. After that, you would have to write new HUD weapon display code and code to change all behaviors and attributes that need changing. It's tough stuff.
