Mmmh, Disney that buy copyright of Star Wars (they don't made ​​a movie yet) makes freaking out the fan-base but Disney - Square/Enix is totally ok? i never totally get, nerd people is so fickle sometime.

Anybody else amazed at how much the vehicle damage model has been fucked when compared to gta 4 which uses the same engine?
Apparently they decided to make a better game than gta4 in every aspect and then ruin it all by making the car damage less entertaining than in an NFS game...
For a game that boasts itself as being the most expensive game ever made in the history of gaming and also has a number at the end of it's name and not just a subtitle, one would expect improvements in every department, including the car damage too.
Every single gta game that ever came out since gta 1 has improved upon all of it's features.
Since gta3, the car physics and damange model has kept improving culminating with a great dynamic damage system that gave you a huge pleasure in speeding and crashing your car into another one and always getting different damage results...
Now in gta5 they added more detachable parts on the cars like fenders or bumpers which is indeed a nice addition.
The problem however is that while they did make more parts of the car detach, they almost completely killed the actual bending of the car itself.
You can drive full speed into a wall or another incoming car and just barely get a few dents and scratches...
This thing completely ruins the fun car crashing experience for me and is one of the main reasons why I disliked mafia 2 when compared to gta4 or mafia 1.

I hope and pray that if and when Gta 5 comes on pc, it will prove that the damage system is the same as the one found in Gta 4 because people already found ways to tweak the damage in Gta 4 and make the cars bend extremely hard or extremely easy.
If it uses the same damage system as Gta 4, people will surely tweak the damage in Gta 5 to allow the cars to bend just like they used to do in Gta 4.

I suppose you could compare that practice with movies being avaialble on theaters for a while. How many people would go to theaters to watch a movie that was on TV?

I paid $88 NZD for GTA V, and last time I looked a more ticket was around $25, then add the popcorn, food, etc.

Vehicles Driving: Feels exactly the same as GTA IV and nothing like Saints Row (Yes I have all GTA & SR games)

Instead of watching some lame video on the net because you can't afford to buy the game yourself or some shit, then save money to rent the game at least before calling judgement.

Pretty much everything you said is wrong, GTA 5 is better than 4 in pretty much every way it is the sum of everything R* have learned so far and an incredible achievement especially as it's on consoles. You are obviously just pissed off because you can't play it yet so you are looking for ways to convince yourself that it's not that great in an attempt to reduce the butthurt. Remember GTA originated on the PS1 and R* have always supported consoles and know how to get the best out of them, anyway GTA always comes to the PC after so cool your jets you will get to play it and eat your words. I'm sure most of us want to play GTA 5 on our pc, I will buy it again when it comes out no problem, it's that good.

Been playing this on the 360 and enjoy it a lot, but the frame rate ranges from tolerable to atrocious. I hope it comes to PC and is actually optimized this time, unlike GTA 4.

I know a few reviewers have mentioned this already but it really is quite funny how you end up taking on the personality of the character your playing even when off missions. For example when I'm playing Trevor I feel more compelled to be a complete psychopath as opposed to the more laid back Michael or Franklin. The inclusion of Trevor in the game is a nice break from all the seriousness that made GTA 4 at bit depressing at times. The car modding is awesome too, though it is a shame that they appear to have changed the Honda CRX (Blista Compact in game) to the more recent Honda Civic model but at least they included the Jap import red badge which is kinda cool. I have come across rusted frames of the old CRX model so maybe it is available at some point.

@Viper yeah Guidos are a sickness, thankfully real Italians are not like that at all, seems to be a New Jersey disease. I have been to Italy a bunch of times and the ones I met were chilled out intelligent smokers, although maybe I'm just lucky though there must be something wrong over there seeing as they kept voting for that piece of shit Silvio "cuntfacebungabunga" Berlusconi, then again my countys politicians are no prize either...
