Hello, everyone. I wish to share a bit of interesting Duke Nukem-related minutia that doesn't seem entirely well known. A friend of mine was looking for some unrelated things and stumbled across the portfolio site for Dirk Jones, one of the artists who worked at 3D Realms during the DN3D days and even a little bit on DNF. He also worked on Land of the Babes while at n-Space. His site contains images of some Duke stuff that I believe hasn't been seen before or at least presented in this fashion. "New" old Duke media is fairly unique these days, so I thought some people here would like to see it.

Actually, those sprites you think are unused were from Shadow Warrior/Shadow Warrior Beta.

The Quake engine Duke looks very amusing. The unwrapped texture for duke himself kind of looks like a katamari damacy version of Duke with the hair...

Any chance he would release that model or the Land of the Babes models? I contacted someone else who worked for n-Space via YouTube recently to see if they had anything they could leak. No reply. Of course, he hasn't signed into his account in ages.

You could remake it in 2 minutes. He's even supplied the UV Map and the wires.
