No keys work. I tried all the keys in the game, and using the program in Windows 7 (F1, F2, F3, F4 ...)
I started the program before the game, and it is in administrator mode.
I do not use crack no-steam. I have an autentic Steam account.

Did you use the Flawless Widescreen program to open the dev log window and input the commands to enable the SOS console?

@ DNF FRANCEI doubt the French version would make a difference.
Check list
a ) check that your keyboard style is mapped with Windows 7.

I tried and it still does not work. Once I even put the keyboard on the English (default) and still nothing ... =/

I just discovered a major flaw with the console. *points to Gearbox*

You can still use it in multiplayer mode. For example, I loaded up "My Digs", and proceeded to go clipping through the world. The console wasn't on the screen, but when I typed Tilde + dnclip, I was able to fly through the world. Gearbox needs to fix this stuff soon. Maybe that's how those guys got to level 42 in like the first couple days.

That would explain the server I joined a few days ago; the host was invincible.

When I tried to use the SOS console in multiplayer, the button I binded the console to became a chat button so I don't know if that was just me or...

Now that I've come out of hibernation again I just wanted to say thankyou to Mr Deviance so he can bathe in his own glory just one more time.

All jokes aside your advice and information has been very helpful and has only been beneficial to us fans. Can't wait to see what secrets this game is hiding I'm sure there is goldmine just waiting to be unlocked!

I am sure anybody could have come up with these results after some hours of research with a hex editor but at this point I am glad that I could help.

I used Flawless Widescreen for better bumpmapping and so the guns aren't as close to the screen.

After beating the first Battlelord, right when I hit a load zone, I see some red artifacts on the top left of my screen, and my computer restarted (this may mean nothing though. My computer crashes allot. Heh...)
So I try to re-launch DNF again, but before it did, I was shown the "End User's Licensing Agreement."

Is there a connection?

So when I re-installed Windows on my new SSD, I tried setting up the console again. Installed FlawlessWidescreen, and followed the instructions. However, the console isn't showing up. Strange.

You don't need to use Flawless Widescreen to enable it anymore, the patch brought back the -log command. So just make a shortcut from your DNF steam directory and add -log in the shortcut properties. Then when you start the game press alt+tab and paste
set input Tilde ShowControls | Type in the white console window.

I guess Gearbox finally figured out that when they screw over players and think it doesn't matter, their games will get shitty reviews, and then they realize that features which gamers have been complaining about like the console, dedicated servers and a higher weapon limit suddenly do matter. The 4 weapon limit alone might have been enough to boost the average score up to 60%.

The new patch re-enables the "-log" switch, but none of the commands work through it anymore. So if you didn't enable the SOS console before the patch came out, you're screwed. Thanks Gearbox!

The commands work for me, I was able to turn on the SOS console. But then again I reinstalled the game when the patch came out so that might have something to do with why it worked for me.

So if I reinstall it, will I lose all my progress? I'm currently trying to beat the game on "Let's Rock" to get those extra settings. However, since I'm almost done, I'm afraid if I re-install DNF that I would have to start from square one again. Or is everything saved to Steam's Cloud?

I don't get it. Isn't it enough to activate VAC? At least people with SOS console and stuff can have fun if they don't get online, but now not even that? That sucks big balls.
