Aye, and played a few games of pool with varying results the first game I played went smoothly, and then a fair few went awry and well...I won't spoil the results in case y'all haven't found out for yourselves yet - but it is amusing!

Hey guys, i just looked @ the gbx forums.. & i decided to try out some of the steam dnf "log" cheats.
But i could'nt get the holoduke to show up in the pre-stadium areas... nor get the jetpack, or beers. id really like to throw around heaps of holoduke's & drink beers one after the other would be funny as.

i do get clipping & all weapons to work though. i guess in the full game then they'll activate the cheats so you just type them in like in duke3d and then these will all work..
saw a youtube video with someone using a holodduke in the bathroom so just was wondering if that is possible.
And if you can spawn NPC's... aliens... etc.


As for the bits about plot spoilers etc here.. well i let myself read, i hope theres more than these so called 24 levels. But as a comparision.. Metal Gear Solid 2 took around 300 staff over 3 years to accomplish and we know how big that game is.. rather big, now with dnf gearbox with around 100 people have taken 3drealms work super glued it all together and made all the cut scenes and story and voila! Duke Nukem Forever. I know this will be filled with so much to do, and theres just 4 days more to wait to finally make truth to all this. just, im someone who will sit down to DNF and play it for 24 hours straight @ least, will i finish the game by then? i hope not. we shall see.

Hmmm, maybe. My point is I found it to work for me. i didnt say that im the first person to see this up & running. just had a hell of a time getting the facts out of gbx forums to Finally see this working for myself.
and interesting images i can make, i will be adding here, regardless.
If anyone doesnt know the way to this just ask, ive got a no BS approach to it.

Ok mate, heres the FACTS.

Go to steam & right click your duke nukem forever game out of the list of your games, Now in properties, and click set launch options..
Now here type -log & then exit that properies window. Load your game of DNF. you'll see a white window like "Notepad" before the launch of the game. let the game Run. now when you begin in the bathroom, press ALT & TAB to go to steam again..

Now, click on that new window... and type in Set dnWindow.DukeConsole ConsoleKey 192
press enter....

Now, go back into your game. and now EXIT. re start the game leaving that window alone now, Important! ..
Finally as you get to playing in the bathroom again press the button right under the ESC key.. should be that squiggly thing ~
Now Voila! you'll get a big duke nukem forever sign showing up! with a small area to type in commands... "cheats actually"..

So theres a good few cheats here, i know of afew.... after you type a cheat in then press enter and your set mate!!!

I got a movie rendering atm of about 100 EDF grunts vs an army of Pig cops cyloids and pregnators xD in full HD
