It's because I played it at work on a 9800gt with 2gb ram and a dual core.
The game ran perfect with a few minor stutters on it I was very happy.

I enjoyed it very much! I´m happy to be able playing it. And you can bet I´ll play through it 10 times more in hope of discovering some hidden stuff.
I´m just sad that Gearbox said we will see something new, but there wasn´t anything new.

textures load a whole lot easier on ps3, and the details are alot better as well.

I guess this could be considered SPOILERS regarding the demo so don't read any farther if you don't want to know anything about it.
Ok. This is a single player demo that features the Cycloid Stadium fight. You then get the monster truck level and some of the mine level.
Everything is extremely polished. I'm running it on a quad core Q6600 2.4ghz, 6 gig ram, Vista 64bit, Geforce GTX 460. No hiccups, no stutter, no pop in.
Everything in "Ultra" detail settings at 1080p. Smooth as silk.

Controls are tight(mouse and keyboard here) and respond well. Weapons are great. I love the shotgun. You get to try pipebombs, holoduke, shrink ray, rail gun,
shotgun, ripper and his trusty pistol. You can use "Duke vision" to see in the dark. I actually like this effect.
The interactivity is fun. Picked up a turd and slung it around. Flushed toilets, pissed, turned off showers, faucets, drew on the chalkboard. You can pick up/grab
objects like gas barrels, etc.
There is gore and blood. You can target and blow off specific limbs on enemies and the poor pig cops got the brunt of it. Haha. Arms, legs, head. All can be shot off.
Ragdoll physics ftw.

The music is perfect and ambient sounds are very good as well.
You do have regenerating "ego" health but let me tell ya, you will get your ass handed to you pretty quickly in some areas. I played on "Let's Rock" difficulty and got my
ass kicked a few times.
Attention to details is very good here. Everything looks solid. The PC version *IS* the version to get if you want the best visuals. There's no doubt and Randy confirmed it himself.
People complaining that the game looks "dated" need their eyes checked. It looks gorgeous.
The demo left me wanting more.

Oh and the intro? BEST. DAMN. GAME. INTRO. EVER. Recalling the events in Duke 3D......

I have actually played Duke Nukem Forever!!!!

Congrats again to 3drealms, Triptych, Piranha and Gearbox. This game will sell millions......
Now back to playing around in the demo.....

I need to get my eyes checked soon. Maybe because recently all I've played recently was Mass Effect 2, which has 2010 graphics, so I might need to play through the demo again. As I said earlier, I wasn't really concentrating on the graphics, more the gameplay and the fun most of all.
