My old Corel VideoStudio has stopped working. To make long story short I want another reasonable video editor. Since there are people in this forum making videos, I wonder, what do you use and what is hot right now?

It has to work on Windows, so Cinelerra should be out of this discussion.

Well, I growth using Sony Sound Forge thanks to my brother, then I started using Vegas Movie Studio. For me, it's a very good tool, it's has all the necessary things (I think), and easy to use and learn. I basically use this to do simple things.

Same here. All I need this for is to add my voice and sounds, and some video blending in/out functions. Posted Image

So what? I use Audacity, and talk and talk and talk and talk until I get what I want. It's the nice thing about editors, you can delete whatever you dislike Posted Image
