Also, when is global warming coming to Canada? I think I should move back to Jamaica, at least for half the year. Internet is slow, but who gives a shit surfing when you can swim in the ocean

So Star Wars is coming to Blu-ray on September 16th, although I'm kind of concerned because it was made all the way back in 1977 and they didn't even have HD back then, so I wonder how it's going to look.

It'll look just as good as any other HD transfer from 35mm film.

It would kind of be cool to have some shows such as The X-Files done on Blu-ray. It was shot on 35mm film, however, it was edited on 480i video, so that's probably why it hasn't come out yet. Probably too painstaking to take the original footage and put it on HD. Also, the SFX were done in SD, so those would have to be re-done.
