Lost power last night in my apartment and it still hasn't turned back on. No heat, the fridge is getting warmer, and there is no hot water either...yep, fun times.
At least I can get stuff done on campus since it opened up at noon today.

Had the same problem today. I then filled the bathtub instead which is less straining, got in and read a book.

Wow hearing about this brings back so many memories... although I can't believe I'm actually old enough to have played them. I'm only 17, and I only caught the extreme tail end of DOS back with a Windows 3.11 computer that could also run MS DOS which was needed for some programs at the time.

Windows 95/98 had a MSDos boot mode...XP has an option to boot into command prompt...7 still has the command prompt as an application.
They will never kill terminal completely. I wouldn't be surprised if you looked deep enough into a 360 or PS3 or a Wii you would find a terminal program running.

Chip's Challenge, Skifree, or any other of those Entertainment Pack games didn't use DOS. Both games work perfectly on my Vista computer, even though they have an atrocious memory leak...
