What is an Anonymous Users/Member? A person just visiting and being ingognito? Why? Embarrassed to be here? Does he/she spy? I don't need to be logged in to read the posts. I don't get it, yes, I know, what else is new. Still, I don't get it.

Not necessarily, you could have meant their respective collective ass.

Lol, never have I seen such a sophisticated yet derogatory statement. I used to be really, really good at english spelling and that sort of thing, then I started learning french and german at the same time for a few years, forgotten a lot of the german, still doing french. Yet I managaged to get into the top english class this year without studying for my previous exam, I guess that isn't too much of an achievement given the english ability of the rest of the year level.

@Hank, are you talking about 'guests' which sometimes visit the forum which you can tell by looking at the bottom of the thread?

Edit: this entire forum actually seems really dead lately compared to before DNF was re-announced. There's probably more activity in the general discussion forum than all the Duke Nukem Forums combined

I feel really pent up right now, there isn't anything I can do about it right now either.

I keep trying to distract myself with other things (like making this post) but it's not working  I think I'm gonna end up breaking something at this rate.

Yeah I know its wired right? I mean I (and everybody else) was expecting the fourms to be so busy the website would crash etc. etc. I mean if the news of the game that has been in limbo for over a year at that point is ok doesn't break the record for most users online what the hell does???

GB reacquires DNF, closes down the GBX forum and offers jobs for new DNF developers.

Browsing as anonymous just means that no one knows you are browsing. You can post and such but you aren't listed as someone viewing the page.

Clearly. Their little Christmas commercial keeps playing while I'm watching my shows...I don't see how "your fantasy" can possible be directed to women while it shows quite hot women prancing around in underwear...

women - it's something men want, but it's directed to women, after all, they will wear it for you, because while you are looking at those adverts, your wife is looking at you, not for long ... but ... that' another story

If I wear that stuff, maybe I can be a sexy woman too...

Considering the type of "sexy" models they feature, the VS ads and commercials are clearly targeted at women.

Ezekiel 23:20 said:

She lusted for the horny men of Egypt, whose flesh (penis) are like that of an ass, and whose ejaculation is like that of stallions.

Yep, that pretty much describes my life: they want it.

http://www.biblegateway.com/passage/?searc...amp;version=NIV scroll down to verse 20

that's why this book is the all time best seller. well, the Qu'ran is probably the closest competitor. My Harry Potter is a remote 1092 in fantasy stories and teachings.

Welcome to the Old Testament. It's actually pretty amusing to see christian organisations condemn violence and sex on tv, movies or games.

Graphic metaphors for the infidelity of Israel are all over the Hebrew Scriptures. It was a part of the culture.

To be fair, most of the "fire and brimstone" preaching you hear these days are pretty pathetic. My experience is that they just quote the stuff in Revelation or something like that rather than coming up with their own creative metaphor. I mean, how hard is it to compare American fascination with commercialism to a crack addict or something like that? That is just off the top of my head.

The prophetic books are full of awesome metaphors and if I was going to study the OT, I'd want to go in depth with that. However, my area of focus is and will remain the NT.

As an aside, it is comforting to know that even 2500 years ago, they made jokes about how well endowed stallions are.
